River View consists of images and text appropriated directly from real estate publications promoting apartments with river views. The work questions the reality of these idealized spaces, while simultaneously inviting the viewer to enter them. Through her playful installation, the artist provokes us to contemplate the irony and artificiality of these not-yet-inhabited spaces.
