Abbie Hebein
Abbie Hebein holds a BA in Art History from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. She has worked with a variety of nonprofits, supporting public arts education and arts integration models. At Portland Art Museum, she assisted the grant-based program Object Stories from the Middle, to enrich student’s literary skills through engagement with museum objects. In 2014, Abbie received a Fulbright grant in Puebla, Mexico to investigate the integration of the arts in the English language classroom. The program culminated in a student-organized community exhibition complete with local bands and interactive events. Currently, Abbie works in art and design education in Manhattan.
