Lindsey O’Connor
Lindsey O’Connor has a background in curating, education, and art, with a focus on the roles of identity and community in public art, social practice, and visual culture. She is currently a curatorial assistant at American Federation of Arts working on the nationally touring exhibition The Rise of Sneaker Culture, as well as several other exhibitions and projects in collaboration with museums in the United Kingdom and China. Lindsey has held positions at the Guggenheim Museum, The Biennial of the Americas, Denver Art Museum, and Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and holds an MFA from Birmingham-Southern College and an MA from University of Colorado, Boulder. Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, she lives in Brooklyn with her husband and dog, Poppy.
