Walter Puryear
Walter Puryear is a producer, and since 2012 has served as Director of The Andrew Freeman Home (AFH), a cultural center in the South Bronx. His current play, The Fall of the Kings, suits the AFH mission of bringing artists to the Bronx to create art that impacts the community. This year Walter also produced Nothing Happened, which was screened at The National Black Theater Festival. In 2014, Walter was executive producer of Black Wall Street; curator of the exhibition Suspicious Activities, featuring Melissa Calderon and Josué Guarionex; and project manager for The Bronx Artist Documentary Exhibition, all of which were presented at AFH.
