Politics of Light is a solo exhibition of Chicago-based, Israeli artist, Jan Tichy whose work emphasizes on site and architecture and its implications for social structure. Tichy's installations are a fluid integration of diverse media incorporating animation, film, photography and sculpture, all invested with the presence of light. Centered around the themes of the seen and unseen through a social, political or visual lens, Politics of Light features single-channel videos, digital light/sculpture installations and site-specific work.
