Artist Talk: Considering Lady Justice

Sunday, June 14 2015
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Why is Justice historically depicted as a "lady"? Why is she white? Why is she blindfolded? Exhibition artist Paco Cao and Curator Regine Basha discuss the artist's exploration of the symbolic role of Lady Justice--the building's main archetypal feature--with Derrick Cameron of Ghetto Film School and the collaborative process by which they produced Cao's latest film "Prohibition--Lady Justice" at the Old Bronx Borough Courthouse.
