No Longer Bored Family Day:"Telling My Story"

Saturday, July 12 2014

Join No Longer Empty and LeRoy Neiman Art Center on an afternoon of art-making for everyone!

Each of us, no matter how big or how small, has a story to tell. Youth and family members participating in this workshop will create an autobiographical collage using a variety of materials including found objects, assorted and decorative paper, magazine clippings, text and their own original writings and drawings. Each collage will be designed to reveal something significant about its artists and his/her unique place in the world. Who are you? What is important to you? What are your favorite things? and your dreams?

The workshop will be led by artist Omo Misha, who has curated an apartment at the exhibition.

And look out for The Nanny Van, parked outside!

Saturday, July 12, 1:00-4:00pm

More information coming soon.

No Longer Bored is a program designed for children and families to discover and explore No Longer Empty´s art exhibition though activities centered on inquiry, reflection, creativity and participation.  We want children and families to explore the exhibition and develop an appreciation for art together.
