Iman Issa
Iman Issa’s work with photography and sculptural installation suggests cryptic narratives or evidence of a momentary event or decision though full disclosure is never achieved. Like crime scenes, her banal images are charged with potency, particularly in her treatment of otherwise insignificant details. At the heart of Issa’s practice is a distinction between identification and recognition.
